I have a secret, there are mystery skeins of yarn coming to the store.

The Sweet Sheep will receive an order of secret skeins.  We will put them up for sale, but you will not get to see them until they hit your doorstep.

Since this shot the other two shelves have made their way in. Yarns are now finding their homes and we are getting pretty excited.

in coming to see my yarns in person??

I am currently setting up a physical shop in my cutsie new house for The Sweet Sheep…and let me tell you…it’s pink!

I will have everything set up so you can come in and see what the yarns feel like and pet them all!  I should not be the only one tempted by them daily.

So my question to you is…if I open up the shop to appointment visits would anyone be interested in stopping in? The shop is located in Newcastle Ontario, which is about an hour East of Toronto. It is a really cute little village with some great shops downtown.

I am just starting to turn the heel on my second Mama E High!

I am soooo excited and thrilled about these socks.

I can’t wait until they are done…see those nasty ladders? I have tried a million different things to get rid of them…nothing is working…my next pair of knee highs are going to have to be magic loop or two circs…the only problem is these methods scare the heck out of me!

My feet look really long in this picture..they are not I wear a size 9..and I like my socks snug so I usually knit them smaller than I need them…nothing like saggy socks to get a girl down.

The yarn is:

Sweet Sheep Signature by Mama E, I only have 2 more skeins in the store and we are planning on changing our colourways, so go grab them if you want them.

The pattern is just a hit and miss pattern. I just cast on and when I got the number that fit…I went with it and decreased as needed.

New Yarns from Ceyeberfibers! These colourways are limited edition due to the technique they are dyed with.

Mama E has discovered an amazing new process for dyeing that creates a marbling effect in the yarns.

No two skeins are alike, nor can they be reproduced.

I am working on a sample…pictures to come soon…the yarns are incredible.
