Our Dream in Colour order is coming…but I just couldn’t wait.

I must knit this shrug!

I fell in love with it the second I saw it and knew I had to have it! There are still some chilly nights around here so I am really looking forward to knitting it up and it only takes 2 skeins! Whoo!

I have been spending a lot of time with my knitting these last few weeks. The monkey socks are finished and I have moved on to some socks for C.

He really liked the idea of Alpaca Socks and requested some warm socks in “good” yarn…yes I admit his last socks were acrylic…yikes! The yarn is wonderfully soft to work with and knits up beautifully.  This is 2 days of knitting! I am trying to work really fast on them so I can get to my shrug and my sockapalooza socks too. Well, I am a bit adicted to the feel of knitting this sock.

Breast Cancer is something that has touched us all in some way or another and I would love to tell stories to my grandchildren of how we fought and came up with a cure for this heartbreaking cancer.

I am just about done these lacy summer anklets and am loving them.

I have been spinning a lot lately and this new shipment of Funky Carolina had a special roving in it just for me! It was my club membership roving called sunkissed and I had to immediatly spin it.

She was calling to be sock yarn..and so she is…now…just to knit it! I can’t wait to see how the yarn knits up…a stockinette sock for sure!

I also finished another skein for my blanket and am about done my 4th skein.  Then I might work on some more sock yarn…it seems to be calling my name.

On the knitting front I am just about done my anklet monkey socks…pictures to come soon…my camera has been full of store updates

I have been going through my stash and found some yarns that I think I will probably not use…they are perfectly good and fantastic yarns. So I thought I would share the wealth with my favorite blog readers.

I am a procrastinknitter in the worst way.  I have things to do…I know I have things to do, but I assure myself I will do them after 5 minutes of knitting…all I need is a good 5 minutes of knitting and then I will be ready to go…

How many other procrastinknitters are there out there?? Come on…confess!

to a blanket!

I am finished my second 4oz of the blanket! This skein is half wet but, I just couldn’t wait to share it.

The pink and orange theme is very soothing to spin and I think it will be a good relaxing crochet too. I am not much of a crocheter but this blanket screams for an adorable shell pattern.

I have moved on to my next roving which is going to be Funky Carolina in some lacy lovelies that I have in my stash.

Whew…this was a big one. I am still missing a few yarns.
