Ok I have made up my mind…the birthday sale will be this Thursday! The reason for that is then I can pack your orders over the weekend and still take Monday (mostly) off…the regualar update will happen Monday!

Whew sale!!!!

Well I am home and seem to have been followed by a large stash enhancement.

As I was preparing this post I realized that I didn’t take a lot of pictures…maybe because I was knitting…everywhere. The ship, the bus, the store…pretty much everywhere. Photos of projects to come tomorrow.

First of all, the cruise was a blast. I met SO many wonderful knitters with so many different skills. It was a wonderful eye opening experience. I had a chance to me some of my online friends like Chrissy, Eunny, and Rose. And was so happy to meet some fantastic customers of mine.

I also got to spend some time with good friends of mine. Mama E and Lisa my cabin mate.

We took a fantastic trip to Marin Fiber Arts, I certainly found some beautiful yarns there and did come credit card damage. We also went to Bee Hive in Victoria which was fantastic and I got to see a lot of the handmaiden line in action…look for new products in the future.

My favorite aquisition on the cruise was the lace style book…I searched high and low for it and finally found it my last day out. I have some plans for a shrug in Great Big Sea Silk.

The Trip was a wonderful success and was so fun to meet so many people. The rest of the cruisers certainly knew there were almost 90 knitters on board…we were everywhere!

We did have some rough seas…I feared for my eyeballs a few times with all of the unstable legs carrying the DPN’s…but everyone had a good grip!

When I arrived home I found I had some packages! Sea Silk Lace, FINALLY SOME CEYEBERFIBER YARNS and amazing rovings, a new dyer with fantastic rovings Funky Carolina, Louet Euroflax, beautiful shelridge farms hand dyed sock yarns.

I will let you know when these all go up. I don’t think the update will be Monday as it is my BIRTHDAY!!!!! There may be a sale to celebrate…because what is better than a yarn sale on your birthday????
