and so the wedding planning begins…

with my knitting plans of course!

Thank you all SO MUCH for all the well wishes and congratulations. It means so much to me.

C and I have decided on a destination wedding next spring so I am planning my wedding knits on that…see what the wedding planner doesn’t tell you is that before you choose the date, location, dress, ect…you MUST plan you knitting!

I have dyed up some silk lace for the Frost Flowers and Leaves shaw from a gathering of lace.

I am also planning to knit my garter of course. Possibly this one or maybe this one.

There is a possibility that if I have time I would like to design and knit my own veil…that is a big IF because I have not yet wrapped my head around the construction that I want yet….but I am thinking.

There might also be a pair of knee highs or thigh highs. I have always love the idea of the bride having long stocking on underneath her dress…it’s like a secret!

No concrete plans on that yet, but I do love Alyson’s!

As you can see I clearly have a lot a head of me, it is going to take a while but I am sure you will all support me though the process.

xo
