Pay it forward

I have decided to take part in Pay it forward this year. For a long time I have needed to do something nice for someone and Barbara brought it to my attention and I think it is just the thing for me.
Over the next 365 days I will send a handmade gift to the first 3 people who leave a comment wanting to participate. The catch is that you then have to pay it forward to 3 people of your own…and so goes the handmade gifting! Spread the love!

  1. Sounds like a great plan! I’ve already got two gifts on the go so this is a great idea! I’ll also be spending a good length of time in hospital so I’ll have the time for this project!

  3. Not sure if my previous comment was added or not, but just in case I’m sending this from my computer (not my mobile)… What a great idea, to pay it forward with gifts. I’ve just sent off a hat and mitts to a shelter, I have some mittens on the go for a friend and I just ordered a kit of fiddlehead mittens from Tanis Fibre Arts for my sister! These gifts will be given regardless of whether I “win” here, but thought I’d at least try! Thanks!

    And just so you know, as far as receiving gifts goes, I consider hand spun yarn a handmade gift! ;)

  5. This is my third try at leaving a comment. Great contest. Found your site by visiting “the crazy knitting lady”. Mittens for a friend are my project right now and with Christmas coming, this is a great challenge!
