I tried to wait…

but I can’t! I have to show you a secret project I have been working on!

The talented Glenna of “knitting to stay sane” fame has designed these amazing Stockings for The Sweet Sheep in the Wizard of Oz theme. These are the “Yellow Brick Road” Stockings, the second of three in the series and will be available for pre order in the shop shortly!

Because I am SO EXCITED about this new kit coming out I am going to give one away! Leave a comment here by November 30th and I will draw one winner to send a free kit of the Wicked colourway to you! More progress and information coming in the next few weeks….really, I was supposed to wait…can you blame me for spilling the beans!! It’s pretty wicked don’t you think? ;D

  32. Just came over from Glenna’s blog to throw my name into the drawing. I thought the original “Wicked” stockings were, well… wicked! *grin* Some of my favorite colors. Even though I’m not *yet* a sock knitter, I promise I would get right on those skills and do your yarn and Glenna’s pattern proud.

  68. Awesome ideas for the socks!! I have always wanted to make knee high socks but have been intimidated due to the time it takes and having 17in calves….These sound like they would indeed fit and be fabulous! I’ll be anxious to see the third colourway (and to see if I won the prize:)

  102. Love both colorways for these socks, but the “Yellow Brick Road” colorway echoes the maize and blue for the University of Michigan (which is where I work), and that combination is too tempting! I hope I win the drawing, and thanks for doing it.

  196. These are awesome, and there are so many different color combination possibilities. When I first saw the blue and yellow ones they made me think of Harry Potter house colors theme (yes I’m a big nerd) that some of my younger friends/relatives would love!
